The Assistant Spa Manager ensures that the highest standards of customer care and therapy procedures are followed, in order to ensure the highest possible guest satisfaction. It is the Assistant Spa Manager's responsibility to ensure the Spa Department operates effectively and efficiently for the best possible guest and staff experience whilst achieving the Spa’s business goals and successful outcomes. Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa. Assist therapists and receptionists in reporting any issues, complaints, or problems to you, which may then be escalated to the Spa Manager as required. Report any maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager. Ensure therapists provide excellent customer service and sales by communicating with the Head Therapist and checking treatment standards. Ensure receptionists provide excellent customer service and sales by communicating with the Head Receptionist and checking reception standards. Monitor good stock levels and ordering of treatment, retail, and locker room products with the Head Therapist. Conduct interviews and carry out trade tests for team members. Address minor discipline issues with team members when possible (e.g., lateness, not following correct procedures). Facilitate the development of team members, including Spa Therapist Training, Customer Service Training, and Sales Techniques. Pay attention to budgets and targets, helping to generate business, including working with the Spa Manager to set daily and weekly targets for team members. Assist in promoting treatments and Spa Days, and identify opportunities for additional treatment promotions. Write rotas for the Spa team (Therapists and Receptionists) ensuring all shifts are covered. More about you... Experience working in treatments. Strong guest service orientation.
