Spa Therapist

An exciting opportunity for a Spa Therapist to join our new team at Quob Park. The Quob Park Spa, based at our Old House Hotel location, is looking for a qualified Spa Therapist to join their new and exciting project. As part of this high-end luxury hotel renovation project, the spa will be offering beauty and spa treatments of the highest standard whilst also introducing new treatments and techniques to Hampshire. Flexibility and the willingness to take on tasks outside of your core area as part of a small team is a must during the launch phase of this new project. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a luxury spa and would suit someone looking to build on their expertise and skills to further develop their career. The role involves delivering facial and massage treatments to guests to an extremely high standard, as well as advising and assisting guests when appropriate. Main responsibilities: Provide consistent specialist massage, face and body treatments as trained by Quob Park Spa within the allotted time. Inform and educate guests about their specific concerns regarding the appropriateness of their treatment selection. Develop effective treatment plans for regular members & guests. Respond to guests’ questions and concerns professionally and politely. Have a complete knowledge and understanding of all the services and products offered by Quob Park. Possess the ability to work without direct supervision. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilisation as stated in the spa policy and procedures and in line with Health and Safety directives. Perform preparatory work, cleaning and re-stocking treatment and prep rooms as required. Inform management of any occurrences in the spa that impact negatively on staff or guests. Care and maintain equipment as instructed in the spa standard operating procedures and inform management of any malfunction. Maintain a positive outlook and contribute towards a quality work environment for the team. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and all retail offerings of Quob Park. When not engaged in other duties, assist in the promotion of the spa to members and undertake general reception duties. Our ideal candidate will: Be able to demonstrate their training and expertise in spa massage treatments to an extremely high standard. Have a thorough knowledge of treatments, benefits and ingredients, and their effect on the body. Have attained a minimum British Level 3 qualification or European equivalent in therapy. Have experience working at a similar establishment i.e., a hotel spa or destination spa. Have worked in a large team of therapists, meaning they are able to work proactively and be a team player. Be calm and professional at all times. Be expected to project an exceptional image of Quob Park members & guests.
