Apple is seeking a creative, dynamic designer for our Business Spatial Design Lab team which helps Apple customers ideate, design and build innovative use cases for Apple Vision Pro, accelerating solution delivery and maximizing the business impact of the platform. Description You are an innovative and experienced software designer with the unique skill of making the complex, simple. You design with empathy for the end user and create experiences that enrich people's lives. In this role you will: Lead the design of spatial applications brought into the Business Spatial Design Lab. Create design comps and sketches of potential workflows and step through key user workflows to ensure solutions are built with the human behind the device in mind. Design clickable prototypes for teams to feel how an experience will flow once built. Partner with internal lab members and customer teams on design elements and user interface concepts. Develop a deep understanding of the product/solution and own the user experience dimension of every Spatial Design Lab project. Collaborate with developers and technical leads internally and externally to ensure designs are technically achievable. Synthesize insights from research, customer meetings, and sales feedback to inform product strategy and specifications. Ensure adherence to repeatable, high-quality processes and results. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in product design. A passion for design and a deep portfolio of designs implemented that demonstrate mastery of product design. Advanced knowledge of leading design tools. Foundational knowledge of UX design for other modalities such as smartphone, tablet, or desktop. Proven understanding of spatial computing as a category. Experience designing spatial computing experiences such as AR/VR, leveraging volumetric concepts. Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle. Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional storyteller — crafting and delivering narratives to drive understanding or support of key programs or initiatives. Strong relationship-building skills along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and partner cross-functionally. Passionate and self-motivated, with outstanding attention to detail. Ability to plan and deliver against key milestones. Bachelor’s degree in UX design or equivalent.
