We are looking for motivated individuals to join SEN schools in the North Cambridge area including the Bar Hill, Longstanton, Impington, Girton, Histon and Swavesey areas.

Becoming an SEN Teaching Assistant is an excellent opportunity to make a big difference in a pupils education, to build upon your teaching support skills and to gain experience in a wide range of teaching methods, aids, and approaches.

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant is a priceless chance to obtain classroom experience if youre interested in teaching children with Special Educational Needs.

Your duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:

* Assist in carrying out educational strategies that are appropriate for each childs learning goals. * Develop a connection of trust with every child and speak to them in terms they can understand. * Encourage diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, and make sure all the children have equal access to learning and growth. * Encourage childrens involvement and make sure they are paying attention during the lesson. * Provide opportunities for developing independence. * Give children, parents, and caregivers feedback about their development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team.

Requirements:

* Good knowledge of the national curriculum * Experience working with SEN pupils * A drive to inspire the next generation * Eligibility to work in the UK * An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
