Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent and experienced state registered Biomedical Scientist to join our wonderful team of Scientists, based in Exeter Histology Department. Main duties of the job The post holder will be expected to assist in the day to day running of the department under the supervision of a senior BMS. Be competent and experienced in all relevant methodologies used in histological investigations and techniques. Apply up to date knowledge of histological techniques in undertaking testing of specimens and the interpretation of histology investigations. Candidates with recent experience in a histology laboratory and holding/ imminently expecting an IBMS accredited degree will be considered for a trainee BMS position Band 5 annex 21 with progression to Band 5 when training is complete.
