We are looking for flexible and dynamic band 7 rotational clinical pharmacists for Division D (Cardiovascular & Thoracics, Neurosciences and Trauma & Orthopaedics). This role allows you to gain experience working within both medical and surgical specialities to develop your CV. Main duties of the job

- This is a vacancy for full time or part time band 7 clinical pharmacists to work with specialist pharmacists in all three areas. - The chance to work in the tertiary services of CV&T and neurosciences and a level 1 trauma unit. - 1 in 5 late nights until 7pm. - All staff are required to contribute to extended hours, weekends & bank holidays as part of core hours, including general dispensary duties. Your Responsibilities Provide a clinical pharmacy service to Specialist Services at UHS encompassing Cardiovascular & Thoracics, Trauma & Orthopaedics and Neurosciences. Support the Senior Care Group Pharmacist in each area in the provision of a specialist pharmacy service. Undertake project work. Supervise, teach and mentor rotational band 6 and trainee pharmacists. Qualifications, knowledge and experience

Masters Degree in Pharmacy GPhC registration Sound knowledge of a surgical or medical speciality Meets Foundation framework/ GLF competencies Audit and evaluative work Experience of teaching and tutoring Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience MRPharmS or equivalent Training in medicines information Please be advised that this vacancy may close earlier than stated if we receive a large number of applications.
