Main Duties of the Job
You will be responsible for working directly with clinicians, nurse specialists, finance teams, and many others to deliver safe and effective treatment to patients within Hepatology at NUH. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated clinical pharmacist to take on responsibility for an exciting, high-profile clinical specialty which is high on the national agenda. As a senior member of the pharmacist team, there will be the opportunity to help support and mentor the junior members of the team. You will be supported by the Advanced Pharmacy Practitioner in Hepatology as well as being able to call upon the support of the large pharmacy department at NUH. The post will have involvement with Hepatology transplant clinics, homecare provision of medications, and the HCV MDT. About Us

The post will be predominantly based at the Queens Medical Centre, but there will be an expectation to travel to the Nottingham City Hospital campus and potentially to other trusts in the region. You will be required to participate in a rostered flexible shift working system including weekend and bank holiday arrangements over a 7-day period and support the on-call pharmacists through the senior pharmacist back-up rota.
