Person Specification Education/Qualifications/Training Essential Professional Qualification or Degree in Occupational Therapy. State Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council. Continuous Professional Development Desirable Training in Sensory Integration. Previous Experience Essential Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment. Desirable Work with families. Work with people who have a learning disability. Work with people who challenge. Work with people with mental health problems. Work with people with complex/profound disabilities. To have post qualification experience of working with people with learning disability, for at least one year. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Essential Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously. Awareness of research methods.
