This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and highly motivated team whilst undertaking a variety of Dental Nursing duties within the Day Surgery Unit, General Theatres, Dental Radiography and Outpatient Departments. You will be providing chair side and first support assistance to the respective consultants in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontic and Restorative Dentistry, ensuring that the best possible Dental Nursing Care is delivered to patients including those with complex medical, physical and emotional needs. Main Duties of the Job
Provide chair side and first support assistance to the respective consultants in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontic and Restorative Dentistry. Ensure that the best possible Dental Nursing Care is delivered to patients including those with complex medical, physical and emotional needs. Manage outpatient clinics and day surgery/general theatre lists on a day-to-day basis. Hold the National Certificate of Dental Nursing (or equivalent), a Dental Radiography Qualification and have current registration with the General Dental Council. Be enthusiastic, have previous hospital experience, and be committed to providing high-level patient care. You will be self-motivated to organise your clinics efficiently on a daily basis and possess good clinical and communication skills.
