Specialist Diabetes and Adult Weight Management Dietitian
Band 6
Hours: Ideally 37.5 hours but can be negotiated
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 dietitian to join our Specialist Adult Dietetic Service covering South Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly team in a dynamic NHS community setting and would be suitable for an experienced band 6 or a band 5 dietitian with at least 1 year’s experience who is ready to specialise in diabetes and weight management.
Main duties of the job
The postholder’s role may include face-to-face or telephone clinics, home visits, diabetic pump clinic MDT, carbohydrate counting workshops, emotional eating, and behaviour change group workshops.
This is a specialist role, so depending on experience, we can offer training and support to develop the skills to meet the needs of the job.
The successful candidate will receive regular clinical supervision as well as opportunities for CPD and personal development, including the trust's beyond preceptorship program.
This post will be based in Cannock or Tamworth with an element of working from home, but the ability to travel independently between venues across Staffordshire is required.
