As a Specialist Fitter / Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of both mobile and fixed plant equipment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment, including but not limited to crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and generators. Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns. Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Safety Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices. Equipment Optimization:

Implement strategies to enhance equipment efficiency. Parts Inventory:

Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance. Experience with GPS Topcon. Proven experience as a Mobile & Fixed Plant Technician or similar role in a relevant industry. Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment schematics and technical manuals. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Payment:

£30.85 an hour, Overtime after 10 hours a day 1.33 PAYE direct payment Please call Dana on 07775117847.
