Reporting to the Manager of Functional Audit, this role is all about conducting assurance activities over risk management and internal controls. You’ll support the delivery of our approved internal audit plan by effectively planning, executing, and reporting on audit activities within your allocated portfolio across various Functions and Assets. In this role, you’ll also execute audit activities for selected scope areas within engagements while maintaining a high degree of quality. This involves planning, executing, and reporting in line with our Internal Audit Methodology and the internal audit plan. Your focus will include global, regional, Functional, or Asset-based processes, including SOX compliance. You will make an impact by: Assisting with audit preparation, onboarding, designing data analytics, managing logistics, and developing consistent work programs. Completing and/or monitoring work allocated by the Audit Manager while collaborating with the audit team, data analytics SMEs, and risk culture experts to share your internal audit knowledge and contribute to factually based outcomes. Assisting with quality checks to ensure factual reporting of findings, agreed actions, and audit closure. Supporting risk culture auditing, by engaging in data collection, developing hypotheses, conducting interviews, and documenting insights related to our risk culture. Providing clarity on complex issues, helping clarify complex internal audit matters and promoting critical thinking to support the business in improving its risk and control environment. Collaborating with the business as needed to provide input and resolve any questions they may have as management implements agreed-upon remedial actions. About You

You are a proactive professional with audit experience who continuously seeks opportunities for improvement and efficiency in applying professional and IA standards. Your focus is on delivering value-oriented audits that drive meaningful outcomes. You thrive in collaborative settings, enthusiastically sharing insights and contributing to the effective management of your team. Moreover, you excel at creating a culture of trust and collaboration with business representatives, fostering an environment that encourages learning and growth for all stakeholders. The successful candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate: Bachelor of Commerce/Management/Finance/Accounting/Science/Engineering/Technology Demonstrated relevant audit/specialist experience. Deep understanding of audit/risk including various models of delivery. Practical experience in application of Risk Management. Strong understanding of Internal Auditing Standards. Understanding of Australian, UK and US regulatory reporting environments and Sarbanes Oxley procedures and requirements is highly desirable. Location and Roster
