An exciting new opportunity has arisen for the role of Specialist Nurse for Children and Young People in Care in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The Children in Care Health Team is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly motivated individual to play an important role in the delivery and ongoing development of a service to promote and ensure the delivery of high-quality specialist health care to children and young people in care.
This diverse health role involves working closely with children and young people, their carers, other health professionals, and multi-agency workers. You will also be expected to work at the interface between health, local authorities, and partner agencies to drive forward the national and local corporate parenting agenda for the health of children in care.
Are you an experienced community practitioner; Health Visitor, or School Nurse (with a specialist practitioner qualification) with a good level of experience working with children and young people in the community at Band 6 or above? Do you have experience in the design and delivery of training and the supervision of colleagues?

Do you have excellent communication skills and are you approachable, reliable, and well-organized?
