The Bideford Community Rehabilitation team provides a service to the residents of a beautiful, rural, coastal region of Devon. You will require wide-ranging clinical skills and community experience to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will need excellent communication skills, adaptability, and resilience to change. There is day-to-day clinical support from Clinical leads and a structured in-service training programme to aid your development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Community Rehabilitation, multi-disciplinary working, and management of patients with a variety of presentations, including complex neurological and orthopaedic conditions, dementia, and falls prevention. The emphasis is on maximising patient independence and quality of life through assessment, rehabilitation, prevention of hospital admission, and supporting hospital discharge. Applicants will require confidence in problem-solving, prioritisation, and excellent communication skills. Our offices are shared with Community Nurses and Social Workers, allowing a high level of integrated working to benefit our patients. Working Pattern
