Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence-based/client-centred principles. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to enhance the quality of life for the patient. Interventions will include psychosocial and physical health/equipment interventions as well as more specialist work such as using a sensory-based approach. Use standardised and non-standardised assessments to ascertain patients' care needs and inform intervention. Assess for and prescribe appropriate equipment and advise on moving and handling. Contribute to the wider MDT working and interventions such as positive behavioural support. Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy Services. Provide outcomes for the service and service users by using agreed tools/assessments. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Occupational Therapy within the Trust. Ensure OT provision is delivered in accordance with HCPC and Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) requirements. Provide supervision for junior staff. About us
