Main duties of the job Obesity in children is multifactorial so a flexible approach will be needed to tailor support for each family and address their child's specific needs which may be a mixture of emotional, behavioural, mental or/and physical. The successful applicant will help the service lead develop the pathway for OT input but is likely to be involved in designing and facilitating group and individual interventions, both virtual and face-to-face, to support emotional, behavioural and activity elements. As a newly formed team a natural passion for iterative quality improvement is necessary to support changes which will ultimately enable beneficial outcomes for the children on the programme.
