Would you like to work in a friendly and supportive Perinatal Team based at St Andrews Place, delivering a service across Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire to women experiencing perinatal difficulties? If the answer is yes, we currently have Specialist Perinatal Practitioner Posts available for 30 hours per week. Working in a perinatal team means that you can help women like Hayley in our #EveryMumMatters video (www.everymummatters.com). Main duties of the job

We know that providing person-centred care and intervention can significantly impact the quality of life for women as well as that of their children and families. You will be implementing early interventions using a biopsychosocial approach and developing individualised care plans for the management of mental health in the antenatal, labour, and postnatal periods for our women, including mental health birth plans. The post holder will primarily be required to work as a specialist practitioner providing evidence-based interventions to treat perinatal conditions. Your day-to-day activities will also include giving preconception advice to women with major mental health difficulties, as well as providing specialist assessments and early identification of mental health issues using NICE recommendations with early referrals to mental health services when required. Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers, and their application to clinical and service areas, e.g., Mental Health Act, Child Protection, Mental Capacity Act, Social Inclusion. Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within Perinatal Mental Health. Basic IT skills. Part III or 13 of NMC live register or appropriate core professional training. Post registration/graduate diploma or equivalent experience in a related work area, to demonstrate advanced level of practice. Demonstrable experience of mentoring pre-registration students. Evidence of project work that has impacted on practice and demonstrates a higher level of communication/planning/change that impacts within own area of work/responsibility. Experience

Evidence in perinatal or mother and baby work. Evidence of development of specialist practice clinical skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development. Act as Care Programme Approach (CPA) Co-ordinator. Demonstrable experience of working in the specific field where the post is held. Development of specialist/advanced level of practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development. Leadership/management experience that has had a positive impact and created change within the service delivery/practice. Skills and Competencies

Demonstrable experience of mentoring pre-registration students. Effective inter-personal skills and experience in supervising and mentoring. Evidence of CPD or experiential learning at an advanced level, e.g., Postgraduate/Masters level Leadership training/qualification/experience. You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
