Specialist Pharmacist in Gastroenterology
at NBT. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and forward-thinking individual to join our team. The gastroenterology team provides a friendly, stimulating, and rewarding environment for pharmacists to develop their clinical skills and enhance the service we provide to our patients. Pharmacists are valued members of the multi-professional team, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality service for our patients. The successful applicant will work closely with the lead gastroenterology pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services to the gastroenterology specialty. This will involve working closely with the gastroenterology team, providing specialist advice, and ensuring safe and timely supply of medications to inpatients and outpatients. The specialist gastroenterology pharmacists are key members of the multi-professional team, attending weekly MPT meetings as well as contributing towards teaching, guideline development, and clinical audit/quality improvement projects.
The successful candidate must have completed (or be undertaking) a postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma and be committed to continuing professional development. Previous experience working within gastroenterology, or working as an independent prescriber, would be advantageous.
