The role is based within our MSK team and will be expected to work flexibly across our sites as the service requires. We have locations in Chester, Tarporley and Ellesmere Port and provide outpatient Physiotherapy to patients referred by GPs and the acute sector. You will be expected to support the development of junior staff, and to assist the Team Leader with day-to-day operation of your local team. We operate an MSK rotation system across our teams to give you the best opportunity to build excellent rehabilitation skills with a wide range of patients. Main duties of the job
To manage and undertake physiotherapy intervention to a designated caseload with complex needs, gaining experience through involvement in a specialist clinical area. To provide a high quality, effective physiotherapy service to MSK patients in outpatients across the Western Cheshire Joint Therapies MSK service, and professional leadership to junior and assistant physiotherapy staff. To provide a specialist physiotherapy assessment of patients with diverse clinical presentation and pathology to determine a clinical diagnosis and provide treatment via therapeutic interventions as indicated and develop effective treatment plans. This post reports to senior physiotherapists, professional lead for physiotherapy, team leaders and is accountable to Lead Therapist MSK and ultimately the Head of Joint Therapy Services. About us

Qualifications
Degree/diploma in Physiotherapy HPC Registration Evidence of CPD/up to date portfolio demonstrating interest in the MSK field and evidence of reflective practice Evidence of relevant validated post-graduate courses Injection therapy qualification Society of Orthopaedic Medicine or MACP course/membership Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in general physiotherapy in the NHS Experience in MSK including short courses, and postgraduate learning Good working knowledge of all areas of clinical governance including audit, quality and risk management Experience in management of MSK conditions Special interest/awareness of MSK conditions and rehabilitation Disclosure and Barring Service Check
