An exciting opportunity to work as part of our musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy team split across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg footprint. The physiotherapy department is looking for an HCPC registered physiotherapist who can demonstrate previous comprehensive experience of working within the field of musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy and has a good working knowledge of NHS systems and procedures. The job will provide exposure to a range of MSK conditions including persistent pain, upper and lower limb conditions, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and acute injuries, as well as an exciting opportunity to work within the pelvic health physiotherapy team. The individual will work as part of an innovative team and contribute to service development. You will provide both supervision to your colleagues and training to students and graduate staff. The job plan will be split across several sites, and there will be an expectation to participate in one long working day per week. Main duties of the job
We are really excited to welcome a new Specialist Physiotherapist to the Pelvic health and MSK Physiotherapy team here at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. This is a great opportunity to develop your clinical skills managing acute and chronic injuries alongside pelvic health conditions and be part of a dynamic team of Physiotherapists. The post holder will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment and identification of problems of patients, including those with complex presentations, producing a highly specialised treatment plan based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of physical treatment skills. They will be required to work independently as part of our physiotherapy team, with fantastic learning opportunities.
