This is an exciting opportunity to be involved within a small dynamic team of community podiatrists caring for patients in West Essex. We are looking for an experienced, well-motivated, forward-thinking Podiatrist who is looking for the opportunity to demonstrate and further their clinical skills and join our friendly, progressive team. (Band 5 looking for career progression will also be considered on merit) You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent clinical and communication skills, these skills are essential as you will be providing a quality service to patients in a variety of clinical settings including patients' homes. We have specialist clinics in Diabetes, Wound care, Nail Surgery, and Musculoskeletal Podiatry. Staff are well supported and encouraged to progress their skills and knowledge. You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. Car driver and access to a vehicle for the job role are essential. Main duties of the job
To autonomously assess and diagnose patients with a diverse range of medical and podiatric conditions, using appropriate diagnostic techniques to provide a high-quality service. To develop and implement treatment plans both in clinical and domiciliary settings. To participate in new patient assessment clinics, routine clinics, ulcer clinics, domiciliary, and nail surgery. To communicate complex information with patients, colleagues, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals. To work in collaboration with specialist teams, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. To maintain accurate and appropriate standards of documentation. To participate in delivering training and education to patients, students, and other health professionals. To undertake physical assessment of patients in clinic or domiciliary settings. The post holder will be required to travel across all areas of West Essex and will at all times work alone, independently, and as part of a team. About us

To provide peer support to all healthcare professionals Trust-wide. To ensure safeguarding and mental capacity issues are recognised and dealt with appropriately.
