The post holder has responsibility for undertaking triage of patients for nurse-led clinics which will be included into job plan and be a key part of their role. The post holder has a responsibility to provide clinical advice to patients, carers and the Ophthalmology multi-disciplinary team. The post holder is expected to contribute to the ongoing development of nursing staff within the clinical setting across all NLAG settings, providing clinical and educational support, undertaking teaching sessions with nursing staff, junior doctors and medical students.
