You can earn between £35-£45 an hour delivering individuals 1:1 sessions in their own homes, in a time frame that works best for you.

Set within the students' own homes and out in the community, our learning packages meet the needs of the individual students offering creative, interest-led sessions.

You will have a Qualified Teaching Status certificate or equivalent. You will have at least two years teaching experience post NQT. You will have extensive experience working with students with a range of complex additional needs. Understanding of how to work in a child-centred, holistic way. You will have the ingenuity and creativity to make the curriculum work in an individual, student-centred way. You will be willing to register as self-employed. You will have a strong commitment to safeguarding. You will have the resilience to manage potentially challenging situations. Experience supporting secondary age or post 16 young people. Developing strong professional relationships with children and young people who have a range of needs and who have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings. Understand the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately. Be part of developing and delivering a holistic curriculum that focuses on all four areas of the EHCP. Create interest based learning opportunities linked to students' targets. Have detailed knowledge of a trauma informed approach. Following the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe. Utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs we work with.
