Aspire People are seeking a confident Specialist Teacher to join one of our client independent provisions in Stoke. This exceptional setting caters to children aged 4 to 11 years with a range of communication and/or learning difficulties, accompanied by related anxieties and behaviours.

The Role

As a Specialist Teacher, you will: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and tailored lessons to meet individual needs. Support the development of communication, social, and academic skills in a nurturing environment. Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance pupils' learning and well-being. Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children with communication and/or learning difficulties, preferably within a specialist setting. A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to teaching. Strong ability to build relationships and foster a supportive classroom environment.
