St Alphonsus’ Catholic Primary School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, talented, and highly motivated Level 2 Specialist Teaching Assistant who has the vision and drive to make a significant impact in school and is committed to making a difference to the lives of our children.

St Alphonsus is part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust (NPCAT), a family of 38 schools and 2 sixth forms from across the Diocese of Middlesbrough. With 12,300 pupils and 1,500 staff, the Trust is one of the North-East’s largest Catholic Trusts.

Applicants will have:

The ability to establish excellent relationships with children and promote aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A good standard of education including Maths and English. A teaching assistant qualification or equivalent qualification or experience. IT skills.
