We are looking to appoint a Specialty Doctor to work within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service with a keen interest in service development and clinical leadership to enhance our focus on seamlessly integrating early intervention and prevention, community services and our highly specialised Tier 4 services. We are happy to consider flexible working, with a job plan to meet the needs of the individual. We will also welcome candidates with subspecialty interests and we are keen to discuss your requirements. Working with excellent colleagues in CAMHS and other children's specialties, this is a wonderful opportunity to work in a progressive and expanding service. Professional Qualifications

Registration on GMC Specialist Register or Specialist Registrar able to take up post within 3 months of completing CSST Approved Clinician in Wales Experience

Experience of working in Community CAMHS settings Skills and Abilities

Diagnosis and treatment of Mental illness in Children and Adolescents in a multi-disciplinary team setting Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively Skills in social psychological and behavioural therapies Welsh Speaker Knowledge/Research

Knowledge of Children Act (1989) Knowledge of Mental Health Act (1983) Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (2005) Knowledge of Mental Health Wales Measure 2010 Personal Skills

Effective leadership Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Basic IT skills (essential within 6 months) Other Requirements

Approved training status Section 12 (2) approval and a willingness to undertake training to become an Approved Clinician in Wales. Able to undertake local travel Disclosure and Barring Service Check
