We are looking for a motivated
Speciality Doctor
to work within our busy tertiary Eye Emergency Centre. This is a full-time permanent post with the option of a fixed term role for the successful candidate. The Eye Emergency service is led by a consultant ophthalmologist and senior sister, supported by 2 specialty doctors, prescribing optometrists, nurses, health care assistants, and a dedicated admin team, managing 30,000 patient attendances per year. The candidate would form part of this team and be involved in DCC within the department, as well as support for F2F and telephone triage, training, education, and service improvement. Candidates with fellowship level experience in Cornea or VR would be ideal for this role. The Department offers excellent training opportunities, and you will have the chance to share knowledge with other senior consultants and senior fellows from all specialities.
