Specification Engineer The Fire Protection Specification Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving Alkegen's growth in Europe and the Mediterranean region. This position will focus on educating and specifying Alkegen's fire protection solutions within key market segments, fostering strong relationships with OEM customers, and identifying new business opportunities. The Fire Protection Specification Engineer will report to the Global Sales and Business Development Director. Key Responsibilities

Specification and Education:

Lead the initiative to educate and specify Alkegen FP solutions in the region, including the Middle East. Develop and deliver technical presentations and training programs to OEM customers, architects, engineers, and contractors. Collaborate with sales teams to generate leads and close deals.

OEM Business Development:

Develop strong relationships with key OEM customers in Marine, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and commercial construction sectors. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their fire protection requirements. Collaborate with OEMs to develop and implement joint marketing and sales strategies.

Market Research and Product Development:

Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities within the passive fire protection market. Work with the Product Manager to develop new product concepts and specifications. Leverage EU regulations to introduce existing Alkegen FP solutions into the region.

Sales Support:

Assist sales teams in developing budget proposals for new and existing accounts. Provide technical support and expertise to help Alkegen expand market share in the region.

Industry Engagement:

Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and network with potential customers. Represent Alkegen at industry meetings and associations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field. Proven experience in fire protection engineering or a similar role. Strong understanding of fire protection principles and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel up to 50% within the identified regions, including the Middle East. Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus.
