Are you an experienced Specification Writer? My client, a leading company in the food and drink industry, is looking for a meticulous individual to manage packaging specifications for major retailers. Key Responsibilities: Compile, manage, and maintain accurate product specifications for packaging, ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements. Utilise and update portals for major supermarkets such as Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, and others to ensure accurate and timely submission of product data. Gather information from customer websites and compile it into clear and accurate specifications. Ensure correct product specifications are sent to printers for packaging, ensuring attention to detail. Ensure all packaging and labels meet the required standards for food and drink products, working closely with the technical and quality assurance teams. Meticulously review all information to prevent errors that could lead to incorrect labelling or product recalls. Key Requirements: Experience in a specification writer role, preferably within the food and drink industry. Experience working with major supermarket portals (Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, etc.) for product data management prefered. IT Literate with proficiency in using online portals, data management systems, and general IT tools. Exceptional attention to detail. Background in Food & Drink Industry prefered.
