The school caters for a higher than average number of children with special educational needs and has a specialist resource unit in their early years foundation stage.

Key Responsibilities:
Using various communication programmes to support children in the EYFS and Key Stage 1. Supporting autistic children and children with barriers to communication. Utilizing PECS, visual aids, “now” and “next” cards to help communication. Delivering tailor-made programmes outlined by the SENCO for identified children. Full-time position starting in September.
