£29,969 per annum Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) who is looking to join our multidisciplinary team? The Forum School is a 38-52 week school and home for children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Main duties of the job

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with a range of individuals to maximise their potential and to enable them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will independently assess communication needs in various environments and implement high and low tech AAC systems based on assessment outcomes, providing functional targets and recommendations to aid day-to-day communicative success. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support the implementation of the therapeutic approach across the environment. Job Responsibilities

You will respond to referrals and ensure an inclusive communication environment is maintained, complete audits, and utilise the RCSLT 5 good communication standards. A key aspect of your role will be to work effectively as part of the companywide SLT team and contribute to service development. About You

The successful candidate will have a degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience working with individuals that have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred, along with familiarity with AAC approaches. In return we offer:
