Working as a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be providing support to children and their families/carers to maximise their communication potential. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintaining accurate records and generating written reports. Conducting speech, language and communication assessments. Establishing therapy goals and tracking progress. Taking part in regular meetings, supervisions and appraisals. Creating a showcase speech and language therapy programme. Taking responsibility for a specific service area, working independently without direct supervision. Taking responsibility for own professional development. Requirements: Speech and Language Therapy qualification. Experience working with children who have complex needs. A commitment to providing effective services and a commitment to continued improvement. Registration with RCSLT and HCPC. Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
