We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated team. The Role: As a Speech and Language Therapist at our SEMH school, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' communication development. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality speech and language therapy interventions, tailored to the individual needs of our students. Your work will help to enhance their social communication skills, increase self-expression, and improve overall engagement in learning. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students. Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to the needs of each student. Work closely with teaching staff to support students within the classroom environment. Provide individual and group therapy sessions. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as required. Offer guidance and support to parents, carers, and staff on speech and language strategies. Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews of students' progress. Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes. About You: A degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration. Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable. Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in children. Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including teachers, psychologists, and social workers.
