Up to £39,404.00 Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) looking to join our multidisciplinary team? This unique post involves delivering an SLT service and providing support to individuals with a range of Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), often accompanied by complex needs and challenging behaviours. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team supporting the change and reinvigoration of Wing College. You will work alongside the onsite clinical team and be part of the new leadership team, which has a clear vision for growth and positive change. Cambian Wing College is a specialist further education college offering both day and 38-52 week residential placements. We provide holistic education for students aged 16-25 years, who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated mental health conditions. We provide robust therapeutic support alongside our students' academic/vocational programmes to enable them to gain the life skills, qualifications, and employability qualities for successful outcomes and a chance to truly thrive. You will receive full support from our onsite multidisciplinary team and join routine service meetings with companywide Speech and Language Therapists. Job Role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with a range of individuals to maximise their potential and enable them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will independently assess communication needs in various environments, implement approaches to support communication based on assessments, and provide functional targets and recommendations to aid day-to-day communicative success. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support the implementation of the therapeutic approach across the environment. You will respond to referrals, ensure an inclusive communication environment is maintained, complete audits, and utilise the RCSLT 5 good communication standards. A key aspect of your role will be to work effectively as part of the companywide SLT team and contribute to service development. About You:

The successful candidate will have a degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders and preferably have worked with AAC approaches.
