As a SALT you will be responsible for the below:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine pupils' speech and language needs. Identify areas of difficulty and develop individualized therapy plans to address communication challenges. Provide direct therapy services to pupils, both individually and in group settings, to support the development of speech, language, and communication skills. Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of each pupil. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the pupils' educational plans. Provide guidance and support to staff on implementing communication strategies and facilitating language development within the school environment. Monitor pupil progress through ongoing assessment and data collection. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and pupil outcomes. Prepare regular progress reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. This role will be a long-term contract covering maternity leave and we are needing someone who can work part-time (up to 3 days a week). Pay rate will depend on experience:
Must have:
