Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro
If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in working with neuro rehabilitation patients, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the inpatient team in a hospital in Croydon.
The post holder will provide a speech and language therapy service to adults with dysphasia.
You will need to have at least 1 year experience post qualification, dysphasia competencies, and HCPC registration.
The Vacancy is M-F, Full Time.
Salary: 31/h
What you'll need as a Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro:
Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications and experience with dysphasia patients
Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
6 months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
