The practice provides commissioned services to educational settings including Primary and Secondary schools across the Borough of Croydon, London. ASL has a focus on evidence-based interventions, individualized care, and achieving positive lasting changes for our clients. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at ALLEN SPEECH AND LANGUAGE in Croydon schools. The role involves following Speech & Language rogrammes to provide interventions under the support of a qualified Speech & Language Therapist. The role involves travelling to different schools in Croydon. Previous experience with Speech & Language support is essential. Day to day tasks include following Speech & Language programmes with Primary and Secondary students, clinical note taking and feeding back to Speech & Language Therapists.
Qualifications Speech and Communication experience within Primary and Secondary settings Knowledge of Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders Understanding of Articulation techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
