Main duties of the job
You will be a confident and enthusiastic graduate or NQP who can demonstrate a variety of different skills and is keen to develop their knowledge and experience working with adults who have had a stroke.
You will work closely with other relevant professionals, including consultants, dietetics, physios, and colleagues in the acute and community Speech and Language Therapy teams.
You will be well supported with regular peer and personal supervision and will be supported in completing your dysphagia training and NQP competencies. You will be encouraged to attend relevant Clinical Excellence Networks and other training to further develop your specialist knowledge.
