You will be a confident and enthusiastic graduate or NQP who can demonstrate a variety of skills and is keen to develop their knowledge and experience working with adults who have had a stroke.
You will work closely with other professionals, including consultants, dietetics, physios, and colleagues in the acute and community Speech and Language Therapy teams.
You will receive regular peer and personal supervision and support in completing your dysphagia training and NQP competencies. You will be encouraged to attend relevant Clinical Excellence Networks and other training to further develop your specialist knowledge.
