Halcyon Health and Social Care North West is excited to collaborate with a prestigious school in the heart of Ormskirk to find a dedicated and experienced Speech & Language Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while working within a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify the speech and language needs of students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the child's development. Provide guidance and training to school staff to support communication strategies within the classroom. Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary. Stay updated on relevant research, techniques, and best practices in speech and language therapy.

What We're Looking For: A qualified Speech & Language Therapist with a relevant degree and registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Demonstrated experience working with children, particularly within a school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. A collaborative team player who can build effective partnerships with teachers, parents, and external agencies. A passion for helping children reach their full potential and overcome communication barriers.
