Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies. Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports. Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals. Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy through professional development. Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Benefits:
