An exciting opportunity awaits you in our Child, Youth & Family Team, sharing your knowledge and skills by building the capacity of educators and families. Due to growth and expansion of the program, we are looking to fill 3 new positions. A unique full or part time, contracted position has opened up for a Speech Pathologist within our School Readiness Program. You will work as part of a large, well established, dynamic, and collaborative team. During your work week you will have the opportunity to: Provide kindergarten educators and families with access to quality allied health programs through the School Readiness Funding initiative to support children to get the most out of their early learning. Use a capacity building approach to enhance the existing skills and knowledge of educators and families to support the learning and development of all children in the kindergarten program. Embrace innovation and responsiveness. Desired Skills and Experience Bring your great, everyday! A Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology from a recognised university (or equivalent) Current full registration with the relevant body A passion for supporting families and educators. The ability to form a good working relationship with your colleagues, families, and educators. The ability to develop collaborative partnerships with relevant stakeholders. Well-developed clinical skills in your discipline Training in Hanen considered favourably. Understanding of family centred practice and strengths-based approach The fine print Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable). NDIS Worker Screening check (if applicable) Hold a valid WWCC. Full registration with relevant body (AHPRA) Full driver license as travel between sites required.
