Position Overview: As a Speech Therapist at our facility, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life and independence of our residents by addressing communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing comprehensive care across our diverse living environments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities Provide specialized support across multiple care settings: Assisted Living Assisted Living Memory Care Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Independent Living (Outpatient Services) Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in geriatric speech therapy or a senior living setting (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-focused approach Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems Culture makes all the difference in an organization.
