An opportunity has arisen within Property Services for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join the Technical Services Statutory Planned Maintenance Department. The SPM team supports the Council’s property portfolio holders and schools/academies that buy-back the Council’s services on all property-related matters. We are looking for an experienced SPM Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and surveyors to provide professional support and electrical advice across the authority to all clients to ensure the buildings remain fully operational and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities:

Have experience in property maintenance activities, statutory planned maintenance, provide professional electrical advice across the authority and for clients with a focus on checking and maintaining electrical maintenance records. Provide technical support to the Statutory Maintenance team and Technical Services as required, to ensure all public buildings and schools through the buy back and SLAs are meeting their statutory obligations in relation to Electrical Services. Be responsible for the effective and timely delivery of all electrical planned maintenance, management of the planned preventative maintenance contract, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and good practice.
