Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and dedicated Sport and Behaviour Mentors to join our team in NG8. The ideal candidates will have a background in sports, along with a desire to work within a Primary school setting, providing mentorship and support to students.

Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group mentorship sessions to students, focusing on sports engagement and behavioural development. Assist in the planning and delivery of sports-related activities and programs within the school. Support students in developing positive behaviour and social skills both inside and outside the classroom. Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create personalized support plans for students. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. Act as a positive role model for students, promoting teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

Basic Requirements: Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a sports-related discipline (e.g., sports coaching, physical education). Experience working with children or young people in a coaching, mentoring, or educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues. Understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of secondary school students and the school environment. Flexibility to work school hours and occasional evenings to support Parent's Evenings.

Desired Qualifications (not essential but beneficial): Level 3 qualification or higher in a sports-related discipline. Experience working with students with behavioural or learning needs. First Aid certification. Knowledge of additional sports or physical activities.
