Are you an energetic and motivated individual with a passion for physical education and behaviour mentoring? Long Term Futures are looking for a PE Coach/Behaviour Mentor to join a thriving primary school in North Edgbaston on a long-term basis, with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your skills in sports and behaviour support while contributing to an engaging and nurturing school environment.
Responsibilities:
Supporting students in PE lessons and during class-based activities. Providing support with physical activities during breaks and lunchtime. Acting as a positive behaviour mentor, promoting good conduct and engagement. Collaborating with the class teacher and PE staff to deliver structured activities. Building strong relationships with students to encourage their development and confidence.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school or sports coaching environment is desirable. Confidence in managing groups of children in both classroom and sports settings. Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs. A proactive and energetic approach to support learning and behaviour. Ability to build rapport and promote a positive atmosphere for students.
