Sports & Public Services Lead Tutor

Contract:

39 (term-time) +2 weeks/Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week

Salary:

£27,000 - £34,320 per annum (FTE)

Your Purpose

To lead our Sports & Public Services team to provide engaging and holistic sessions to our Learners, ensuring that their individual needs are met whilst working in a group environment. Our Sports & Public Services Lead Tutor will also have the operational day-to-day responsibilities but will work closely with and be supported by our Adventure Provision Manager.

We Need

We need someone who has extensive experience of delivering the Sports & Public Services curriculum in an educational setting, delivering a wide range of sports. We would like someone who has worked with learners that are in the process of re-engaging with education and have additional learning requirements. It is important for R.E.A.L. that our new Sports & Public Services Lead Tutor has a thorough understanding of safeguarding children and young people, has the initiative to drive learner progression, and strong leadership skills - acting as a role model to our Group Tutors and learners. Our learners need someone who is patient, passionate about sport, and believes that above all else, they all have a future.

There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
