Sports Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a Sports-Based Teaching Assistant for this permanent and full-time position to work with children. The role involves participating in Physical Education classes, sports, and health and fitness coaching.
A BA degree qualification in sports studies or physical education is desirable, whether from the UK or overseas, along with previous experience working with children. However, recent university graduates with an interest in fitness, health, and wellbeing who enjoy working with children are also encouraged to apply.
Starting salary:
GBP21,000 - GBP22,000 per annum + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, 12 weeks paid holidays. Job Description: Work with children alongside and assist the Class Teacher. Plan and implement sports, fitness, health, and well-being activities. Engage in creative learning activities and play games with children. Participate in physical education classes, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Follow health and safety policies and procedures. Carry out observations of children and their development. Supervise play and assist with reading and literacy classes. Interact with parents and update them on their child's day.
