We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sportsbook Manager to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports betting industry. They will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our new sportsbook product, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users while staying ahead of market trends and regulatory requirements.

This role will be responsible for driving revenue through the sports markers for the group, which will include in house brands as well as third party white label brands.

The focus of the role will be making sure the product is correct, aligned with key events and engaging for the players.

Alongside this, working with the product provider to ensure that they are fulfilling their responsibilities which include odds setting, risk management among other areas.

The role is a great opportunity for someone to come in at the start of a new adventure for Betable as we enter the sports market. There is plenty of room for growth and the opportunity to develop a team as the role increases.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and

articulate a clear vision for the sportsbook product, aligned with the

company's overall strategic objectives. Identify market opportunities and

define product roadmap priorities based on customer feedback, industry trends,

and competitive analysis.

Collaborate with

cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and

customer support, to prioritise features and enhancements based on

business value, technical feasibility, and user impact.

Champion the user

experience by defining intuitive workflows, designing engaging interfaces,

and optimising customer journeys to maximise user satisfaction, retention,

and lifetime value.

Working with our

Compliance team to stay abreast of legal and regulatory requirements in

relevant jurisdictions, ensuring that the sportsbook product adheres to

all applicable laws and industry standards for responsible gambling and

data protection.

Define key

performance indicators (KPIs) and establish mechanisms for tracking

product performance against business objectives.

Analyse data and

user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and drive

continuous optimisation.

Serve as the

primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing

regular updates on product development progress, soliciting feedback, and

aligning expectations to ensure successful outcomes.

Inspire and

motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time

and within budget. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment

that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven track

record of success as a product owner or product manager, with at least 3

years of experience in the sports betting or online gaming industry.

An understanding

of sportsbook operations, promotions and player communications.

Understanding of

betting markets, odds calculation, risk management, and trading strategies

would also be beneficial.

Strong analytical

skills and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in

product analytics tools

Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively

collaborate with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of

the organisation.

Demonstrated

leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and mentor team

members, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus in a fast-paced and

dynamic environment.

Knowledge of agile

software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and

experience working with project management tools such as Clickup, JIRA or

Asana.
