Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Sprinkler Fitter to join our team on a contract basis for a project in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of sprinkler systems across commercial sites. If you have a proven track record in the fire protection industry and are looking for a challenging contract role, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and service sprinkler systems in compliance with relevant safety standards. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure systems are operational. Interpret technical drawings and schematics. Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations. Work closely with the project manager and site team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sprinkler Fitter. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds in Sprinkler Installation, or equivalent). Strong understanding of fire protection systems and regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical plans and diagrams. CSCS card (preferable). Full UK driving license. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
